NOTICE WRITING
Q: What is the notice?
A written or printed news announcement or information is
referred to as a notice. In the modern era or age, it is an effective means of
communication.
POINTS FOR WRITING A NOTICE:
1. In the top middle of the page, write the
name of the institution/ organization or office.
2. Write the word 'Notice' just below the
institution's name.
3. In two or three words, Write the headline or
the subject of the notice, just below the word 'NOTICE'.
4. At the top left, write the date of issue of
the notice.
5. In capital letters, write the name of the
institution, the word 'NOTICE' and the subject, or at least the first letters
of those words.
6. Next write the body of the notice. Include
information such as the purpose of notice, date, time, venue, programme etc.
7. In the bottom left corner of the page, write the notice issuing authority's signature and designation of the.
8. Note the use of particular words and phrases used in
notice writing. A notice is typically introduced with the words 'This is for
general information', 'This is to inform' and so on. However, it can also start
directly with 'This (name) school is going to organize'. Also, note other words
and phrases throughout the body part of the notice.

2. Notice inside

3. Body part.
4. Signature,
name and designation of the notice issuing authority.
